Head and Neck

Neck lift

Description of the procedure and the resulting effect

Neck plastic surgery can take many forms and thus require different extent of neck rejuvenation surgery procedures. Sometimes neck lift is a part of the facelift, other times it is a surgical correction of deeper structures of the neck (skin muscles – platism, subplatysmal fat). This affects the complexity of the operation and also the type of anaesthesia. The surgeon performs the incision according to the selected method, either under the chin or behind the ears or even in both areas. After removing the excess skin, the surgeon closes the small wounds with absorbable sutures.

Description of the procedure and the resulting effect

Neck lift can be performed in combination with face lift and can be performed in several ways. Only a plastic surgeon can best assess which procedure will be ideal for you. After sending photos and a description of your problem, we will contact the clinics that, in our experience, best meets the criteria for the selected procedure. We will contact you again as soon as possible with the proposed procedure and price.

Convalescence

You will wear a special elastic halter two weeks after the procedure. Wear it thoroughly because it plays an important role in postoperative recovery. There is perhaps no surgery without bruises and swelling. They are the body’s natural reaction, so accept them. After a neck lift, bruises and swelling will be absorbed in about two weeks. Most of the time, they remain hidden under the elastic halter anyway.
