Upper Arm Lift
Description of the procedure and the resulting effect
The surgeon makes an incision from the armpit toward the elbow joint along the inner line of the arm. He/she then removes the excess skin, including the subcutaneous tissue, and stretches the loose skin upwards. At the end of the surgery, the surgeon closes the wound with absorbable sutures, applies a sterile dressing and binds the arms with bandages. On the first or second day after the procedure, the doctor removes the drains and puts on a compression garment.
