Liposuction – One Area
Description of the procedure and the resulting effect
The basic principle of liposuction is to remove accumulated subcutaneous fat from areas where it cannot be removed by exercise or diet. The surgeon injects a special fluid into the agreed areas; this will allow the fat to be sucked out. A cannula, which is only a few millimetres in diameter, is connected to a vacuum device that will free you of “saturated” fat cells. Exactly such tiny scars will remain after the procedure. At the end of the surgery, the surgeon closes the wound with absorbable sutures and applies a sterile dressing.
